Research Use Only & Purchaser Policy

This policy explains the research-use restrictions, purchaser responsibilities, order-review standards, and prohibited uses applicable to Pepvian products.

Research Use Only

Pepvian products are intended exclusively for legitimate laboratory and research purposes and are not for human or veterinary use or consumption.

Minimum Age and Purchaser Eligibility

Purchasers must be at least 21 years of age, must be legally permitted to purchase the products ordered, and must intend to use them only in an appropriate research, analytical, institutional, or laboratory context consistent with applicable law and product labeling.

Eligible purchasers may include independent researchers, academic or university researchers, biotechnology or pharmaceutical organizations, contract research organizations, laboratory or testing facilities, healthcare or medical research organizations, government or public research institutions, and other legitimate research organizations, provided the purchaser is appropriately qualified for the materials ordered and the intended use is lawful and research-related.

Purchaser Information and Verification

Pepvian may require account registration, purchaser classification, organization information, intended-use information, or other reasonable information before accepting or fulfilling an order.

When reasonably necessary for purchaser qualification, fraud prevention, safety, legal, regulatory, payment-processing, or compliance review, Pepvian may request additional information reasonably related to age, identity, business or organization details, laboratory or research affiliation, shipping destination, intended research context, or other purchaser-qualification information.

Purchaser Certification

By placing an order, the purchaser represents and certifies that the purchaser is at least 21 years of age; that the products are being acquired for legitimate research, laboratory, analytical, institutional, or other lawful research purposes only; that the purchaser understands the Research Use Only designation; and that the purchaser will not use, administer, transfer, promote, resell, or distribute the products for a prohibited purpose.

The purchaser further represents that the purchaser has the knowledge, training, equipment, facilities, controls, and other resources reasonably appropriate to receive, store, handle, and use the materials ordered in a research setting and will comply with applicable laws, regulations, institutional requirements, and appropriate laboratory safety practices.

Prohibited Uses

Human consumption or administration.
Personal medical, therapeutic, cosmetic, wellness, weight-management, performance, or anti-aging use.
Clinical diagnosis, treatment, prevention, or mitigation of disease unless a product is separately and lawfully authorized for that purpose.
Veterinary use, treatment, administration, or consumption.
Use in food, drugs, cosmetics, supplements, or consumer products.
Any unlawful, unsafe, deceptive, or misrepresented use.

No Human-Use Guidance

Pepvian does not provide dosage, administration, injection, reconstitution, treatment, cycling, stacking, prescribing, or other human-use instructions. Product pages, support communications, educational resources, and analytical documentation should not be interpreted as medical advice or authorization for human use.

Laboratory Responsibility

Purchasers are responsible for establishing appropriate laboratory controls, training, storage, handling, documentation, personal protective equipment, waste-disposal practices, and other safeguards suitable for the specific material and research activity.

Product Information and Analytical Documentation

Any analytical data, certificate, identity information, purity information, or other quality documentation presented by Pepvian applies only as stated and, when represented as lot-specific, only to the identified lot. Such information is provided to support research purchasing and quality review and does not convert a research-use product into a product approved for human or diagnostic use.

Order Review and Additional Information

Pepvian may review orders before fulfillment and may request additional information when an order, communication, shipping destination, product combination, quantity, account history, intended use, purchaser information, payment activity, or other circumstance raises a reasonable compliance, fraud, safety, purchaser-qualification, legal, regulatory, or misuse concern.

Right to Refuse, Hold, or Cancel Orders

Pepvian may refuse, hold, limit, or cancel an order when reasonably necessary to address suspected non-research use, prohibited use, fraud, legal or regulatory concerns, purchaser-qualification issues, incomplete or inconsistent information, shipping restrictions, payment-processing concerns, inventory issues, or other legitimate business or compliance concerns. Where payment has already been collected for merchandise that will not be shipped, any required refund will be handled in accordance with applicable law and Pepvian’s posted policies.

Resale and Transfer

Purchasers may not knowingly resell, redistribute, transfer, relabel, or market Pepvian products in a manner that removes or obscures the Research Use Only designation, misrepresents product status, promotes prohibited use, or violates applicable law.

Communications That Indicate Prohibited Use

Pepvian personnel may decline to answer questions or provide assistance when a request seeks dosage, administration, treatment, reconstitution, personal-use, prescribing, or other prohibited-use guidance. Such communications may also result in order review, account restriction, or cancellation when appropriate.

Purchaser Responsibility for Applicable Law

The purchaser is responsible for determining whether possession, purchase, storage, handling, transfer, use, or disposal of a product is lawful and appropriate in the purchaser’s jurisdiction and research setting. Pepvian’s acceptance of an order does not constitute legal, regulatory, scientific, or professional advice.

Policy Updates

Pepvian may update this policy as its catalog, compliance controls, operational practices, or legal obligations change. The version posted on the website at the time of purchase will generally apply to that order unless applicable law requires otherwise.
